When It Rains It Shines | Open Tours
IAAM is excited to celebrate the opening of the special exhibition, "When it Rains it Shines," available for viewing through December 3, 2023. Using sculpture, sound, and light, Fletcher Williams III constructs a labyrinth of personal memories, rituals, and sacred hideaways. It is both a dreamscape and a psychedelic vision of what is to be in and of the South. Both disorienting and inviting, this immersive installation offers visitors an opportunity to interact with the South in new and thought-provoking ways. "When it Rains it Shines" is made possible through the generous support of Bank of America.
We invite you to join us on Wednesday, September 27 at 7 p.m. to self-tour the exhibition. Open tours will begin at 7 p.m. and last until 9 p.m.
