Life, Love, and Liberation: Exploring Black Faith and Identity
w/ Ekemini Uwan and Dr. Christina Edmondson
Join us for an intimate evening of conversation, reflection, and connection with acclaimed authors, theologians, and cultural commentators Ekemini Uwan and Dr. Christina Edmondson.
Drawing from their book Truth's Table: Black Women's Musings on Life, Love, and Liberation, Uwan and Edmondson will engage in a candid discussion about faith, identity, belonging, and what it means to live with purpose and conviction in today's world.
Together, they will reflect on the experiences, challenges, and hopes that shape Black communities while exploring the ways faith can inspire healing, resilience, and liberation. This thoughtful conversation will invite guests into a welcoming space to consider the intersections of culture, spirituality, and identity while engaging with ideas that are both deeply personal and broadly relevant.
Following the program, guests are invited to stay for a book signing with the authors, with books available for purchase. Light refreshments will also be served.
