IAAM King: An MLK Day Celebration
IAAM Bold. IAAM Powerful. IAAM Courageous. IAAM My Ancestors Wildest Dream. IAAM King. The IAAM exists to preserve and explore the gifts, dreams, and hopes that our ancestors gave, transforming our visitors into keepers of our collective stories and advocates of our mission and vision. In many ways, the values championed by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. are present within the content and stories we share in our exhibitions - social and racial justice, freedom, economic equality, and perhaps most importantly, sharing a dream for a brighter future.
As we celebrate MLK Day 2024, the International African American Museum invites you to join us for "IAAM King," a day of celebration and commemoration. The day will feature complimentary admission to the museum, a showcase of local vendors, food trucks, music, games and activities for youth, and more! The IAAM MLK Day celebration is made possible through the generous support of TD Bank and Boeing.
We can't wait to see you there!
